Your Business Plan is your working plan for developing and implementing your business. It is not just a written document that you set aside and never look at again. Everything you need to do to successfully begin your business and to succeed in your business is in your business plan.
Your Business Plan is just that – Your Business Plan. It is a plan that you set up with your business goals and objectives in mind. How you are going to develop and complete the process of setting up your successful business. If you have written your business plan well you will have a good plan to follow when developing your business. You should follow it as closely as possible.
The most important aspect of your Business Plan is the Budget. If you follow your budget closely you won’t be among that group of business owners that are out of business after their first year of business. That’s right, most businesses go under in their first year. Why? Because they either do not have a business plan, have not followed their business plan, or have a very poorly written business plan.

Industries always have prime target areas and prime target products. You need to know all about your Industry. Industry has to do with your product – What are you? A coffee retailer, A clothing manufacturer, An Italian Restaurant. In each of these cases there is an industry. The coffee retailer is the Coffee Industry. The clothing manufacturer is the clothing Industry. The Italian Restaurant is the Food Industry. You also might want to get more specific and know about the industry within the industry. The retailing, manufacturing, and restaurant industries. And then specific products within each industry. So you have a product and an Industry and these have been researched and now you know all about your specific industry. You know where to purchase your product at the best prices possible.
You also will know about employees. How many employees you will need to successfully bring about your business. You know how much to pay your employees, and how to train them, so that they can successfully help you succeed.
In the case of the budget, everything is on your business plan regarding what products to buy, where to buy, and how much you are allowed to spend. You cannot go over your budget and be a successful business.
Your business plan tells you how to target your audience for optimal success. You will only do well if you have a well-targeted audience.
Your business plan tells you how to bring money to your business, how to get your loans, how to approach loan providers, etc.
It tells you where to get insurance and how much insurance you will need and how this fits into your budget.
Your business plan even tells you about the best location for your business and what equipment you will need to furnish your office, your store, your company, or whatever kind of business it is.
